To those who loved and lived together, but lost it somehow!
She was a bright daisy,
Redolent in the open air,
Swaying as the breeze kissed her,
Throwing caution in the air.
There was buzz all day long,
Bees surrounded her,
But her eyes sought the quiet looks,
Of his, who always stood afar.
One fine day, she took upon the task,
dauntless in her style,
She bared all her pent up feelings,
He stood still awhile.
In nature's own jocular way,two hearts,
united, making life a dream,
From almost becoming star crossed lovers,
They conquered all worldly whim.
Many tides later, with much water flown,
The monarchs of heart tied the knot,
But slowly with the eroding time,
The souls started moving apart.
They lived together in one abode,
sharing meals every night,
But the color of daisy started fading,
His heart too,was not as bright.
Many a night,tacit tears,
wet the sleepy pillow,
Two hearts still beating together,
But each missing the other's billow.
Taking each day as it comes,
She holds on her fading hue,
Cherishing the fond memories bygone,
Seeking divine aid, for life anew.

Found and lost?
Broken Wings

She had a dream, she is Cinderella,
Her prince will come on a white horse,
Sweeping her away in his arms,
Galloping away from life of worse.
She found a fairy Godmother,
who promised her, her dreams,
Would turn true if she surrenders,
Completely to Her whims.
On a dark night of silence,
Leaving stealthily her poor home,
With pennies and few rags she possessed,
She set out for unknown road to rome.
After covering acres and miles,
The Godmother brought her to a place,
With trembling torso, she realized,
she was now a hopeless case!
Futile attempts to set herself free,
told her shackles were too tight;
She surrendered to her ill fate,
Knowing this was the beginning of her plight.
Suitors came, suitors went,
she was their object of play,
The dream of her prince on a white steed,
did just in lifeless soul, lay.
She often tearfully wondered, with each passing day;
Was there a lot of cost?
To wish for a cozy home and love?
The happily ever after dream was lost!
Metamorphosis....an ugly duckling

In a world of gaiety and laughter,
She looked lost and sad,
But no one looked into her heart,
They thought she was mad!
Her mother often worried,
Her father admonished, brushing off,
She was a wilting flower,
Who could not withstand the rough.
The strong and mighty bullied,
She was victim of their jeer;
''Her color was dark,'' ''she was slow'',
Only ridicules, all around, not one cheer!
With every passing autumn,
The hue of life disappeared,
But in nature's enigmatic ways,
She blossomed, but problems snared.
But one fine day, she looked in her soul,
Found determination and courage,
With mother's blessings and father's love,
She discovered in her a rage.
Armed with knowledge that sagacity brings,
She charged upon the world!
Crumbling all her detractors of yore,
Astounding them with her image of bold.
Gone was the loser, they always thought,
In stepped a beauty queen,
Radiant with charm, wit and fearless heart,
She arrived!only to win!
